DDAT was founded to bridge the development gap between remote rural communities and institutional resources. With more than three decades of field-based experience, the organization has implemented multi-sectoral humanitarian and development programs across Tharparkar, Umerkot, and Mirpurkhas districts. DDAT’s locally rooted presence enables strong community trust, contextual understanding, and effective collaboration with government departments and development partners.
Our Vision
Empowered and resilient rural communities in Sindh, thriving with dignity, equity, and sustainable livelihoods.
Our Mission
DDAT enables inclusive development by bridging gaps between resources and communities. We foster locally led solutions that strengthen livelihoods, enhance climate resilience, and empower people to drive sustainable and lasting progress.
DDAT is governed by an independent Board that provides strategic oversight and ensures organizational accountability. Day-to-day operations are led by an experienced management team supported by qualified technical and field staff. Clear governance structures and internal controls guide program implementation, financial management, and compliance with donor and regulatory requirements.
DDAT primarily operates in the districts of Tharparkar, Umerkot, and Mirpurkhas in Sindh Province, with a strong focus on remote, underserved, and climate-affected rural communities.
